An array of Health Services are offered at WLRC, including both inpatient and outpatient care. The services of the physicians, nurses (including DD certified nurses), dentists, respiratory therapy department, certified laboratory, full pharmacy, dental department, and x-ray services are available to residents of all programs housed on the campus.  The expertise of these very specialized healthcare professionals is integrated into the care of each resident . The Healthcare Center Inpatient Unit is currently used for a small number of individuals requiring significant medical care or observation. In 2007, in the existing building , a  25 bed unit  is being developed to provide specialized long term care services for persons with needs that cannot be served in a traditional nursing home setting .
