Welcome!
Wyoming Cares.....
Transplantation is one of the most remarkable success stories in the history of medicine. It provides hope and life to thousands of people suffering from organ failure. In addition, transplanted tissue offers hundreds of thousands of people an active and renewed life. Close to 100,000 Americans are currently awaiting a life-saving organ transplant. But, transplantation can only happen with the generosity of organ and tissue donors.
Wyoming Shares.....
Sharing your decision to be an organ and tissue donor with your family is as important as making the decision itself. At the time of death, when appropriate, your family will be asked about donation. Sharing your decision with your family now will prevent confusion or uncertainty about your wishes. Carrying out your wish to save other lives can provide your family with great comfort in their time of grief.
Wyoming shares by financing educational efforts about organ and tissue donation. In the spirit of helping one another, Wyomingites are able to show their support of organ and tissue donation by adding a dollar or more to their vehicle registration fees at the time of vehicle tab/plate renewal. State Legislation, which became effective July 1, 2000, gives individuals this option. The funds will be used to increase opportunities for organ and tissue donation education in Wyoming.
Consider adding a dollar or more at the time of vehicle tab/plate renewal. You can play a part to increase organ and tissue donation education in Wyoming.
