EqualityCare (WY Medicaid) provides an array of services to assist individuals with mental health and substance abuse related issues.  Services of this program include (but are not limited to):

 

·         Community Mental Health Services

·         Substance Abuse Services

·         Residential Treatment

·         Psychiatric Hospitalizations

·         Psychologist Services

·         Psychiatric Services

Telehealth/Telepsychiatry

 

EqualityCare will pay for telehealth services for dates of service beginning May 1, 2007.  Telehealth is recognized as part of an approach to address the problem of provider distribution and the development of health systems in medically underserved areas by improving communication capabilities and providing convenient access to current information, consultations and other forms of support.  For detailed information regarding billing EqualityCare for telehealth services, refer to this presentation
